John Lawler Yerby Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024, John Lawler Yerby (Norfolk, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Maynard Yerby, Jr. and Mabel Lawler Yerby; and his siblings, Charles "Chic" Yerby, Nancy Yerby Inman and Pat.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Kessler Yerby; his sons, Patrick (Jody) and Ryan (Charlyn); his grandchildren, Anthony, Avery and John; and his sister Judy Burke (Ed).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Norfolk Chapel (1501 Colonial Ave, Norfolk, VA 23517).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Southeastern Virginia Chapter or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with all our thanks.
