She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Gallatin. She is survived by: her children, John Casey Turpin, Christy Letsom and Meg Leeman (Tommy); her sister Christy Bering; her daughters, Jennifer Koerner (Steve), Elizabeth Bering (Richie) and Anne Bering; her grandsons, Kenny "Lew" Letsom, Boyd Leeman and Miller Leeman; her great-nephews, Henry, Jack and Dylan; her cousin Joan Turner (Al); and her friends, Carrie Weston, Joanne Robbins, Carol Stark and Teri Mize.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Norfolk (1501 Colonial Ave, Norfolk, VA 23517). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (520 Graydon Ave, Norfolk, VA 23507).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacred Heart Church for the maintenance of Bertha, our organ.
