He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Covil, Jordyn Burnell, Jamese Burnell and Lundi Burnell; his grandchildren, Jeron Burnell, Jaquan Burnell, Coby Brewer, Tony Hardy and James Burnell, Jr.; his daughters, Lil'Keith and Lil'Bobby; and his siblings, William Bonner, Sr. (Pat), William Larry Burnell, Elihu Harrell Burnell, Belinda Burnell, Janet Harris (Rick), Ella Burnell and Anita Burnell.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Metropolitan Funeral Service (120 W Berkley Ave, Norfolk, VA 23523). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church South Hill (3633 Galberry Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23323).
