He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Hodges McFarlane; his daughter Ann H. McFarlane; his parents, Forrest W. McFarlane Sr. and Mary K. McFarlane; and his sister Dorothy M. Andrews.
He is survived by: his sons, Forrest W. McFarlane III (Terri) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and John D. McFarlane of Williamsburg; and his grandchildren, Martin of Tullahoma, Tennessee and Morgan of Nashville.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association, or to your favorite charity.
