Though Edith may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edith touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

Tommy L. Bogger wrote a sympathy message

“To the children & family of Edith Sampson: We remember Edith fondly. She exhibited such grace and kindness. Even though she was soft-spoken, when she spoke others listened. She, more often than not, would espouse truisms or life lessons to apply to everyday life. " Even though the world moves on as though nothing has happened, please know that others will be thinking of you; and day by healing day, when you think others have forgotten, we will still be thinking of you." Tommy and Nan Bogger”
