She is survived by: her sisters, Valencia "Val" Moore of Norfolk and Sharon "Sweet" White of Charlotte, NC; her niece Chenell Dantzler of Florida; her goddaughter Carmica Johnson-Green of North Carolina; her aunts, Inez Artis of Greensboro, NC, Celestine Artis of Greensboro, NC, Jean Cherry, Dorothy Peterson (James) of Hampton, VA, Barbara Jackson (James) of Salisbury, MD, Constance "Connie" Richardson (John) of Aulander, NC, Otelia "Tee" Gilliam and Shirley Kelley of Washington, DC; and her friend Phillip "Bull" Jamison.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Graves Funeral Home (1631 Church St, Norfolk, VA 23504). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Calvary Baptist Church (800 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23504).
