He was predeceased by: his parents, Deacon Clyde L. Doxey, Sr. and Deaconess Evelyn Reid Doxey; his grandparents, Rev. Moses and Mary Reid; and his siblings, Clinton D. Doxey and Beverly Rodgers.
He is survived by: his close friend Rev. Clyde L. Doxey, Jr.; and his uncle Milton A. Reid.
Viewing was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the New Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church (3044 S Military Hwy, Chesapeake, VA 23323). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Metropolitan Funeral Service (120 W Berkley Ave, Norfolk, VA 23523).
