Charles N. Cooper Obituary
We bid farewell to Charles N. Cooper of Norfolk, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Charles touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Cooper and Mary Miller Cooper; and also Wendy Cooper. He is survived by: his brother Joel Cooper; his children, Brooke Cooper (Babette), Erik Cooper (Betsy) and Jeff Cooper (Allison); his grandchildren, Hannah, Tanhen, Kacey, Rena, Rachel, Nathan and Ryan; and also, John Cooper (Monica) and Kate Augus (Barry).
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ohef Sholom Temple (530 Raleigh Ave, Norfolk, VA 23507).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to causes dear to Charles's heart, Ohef Sholom Temple, Norfolk Academy, and ODU The Institute for Jewish Studies & Interfaith Understanding.
