We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2024, at the age of 65, Bishop Alton Newsome (Norfolk, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Bishop Alton shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bishop Alton farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Viewing will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A wake will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bibleway Holiness Church (2520 Dexter St E, Chesapeake, VA 23324).
