She is survived by: her husband Robert Thomas; her children, Padua Davacas Thomas and Qwaku Videl Thomas; her daughter-in-law Corsica Thomas; her goddaughters, Kim Thompson and Monica Curry; her siblings, Willie Mae Smith, Roosevelt Smith, Earvin Smith and James Smith; and her godmother Bishop Dorine. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Graves Funeral Home Chapel (1631 Church St, Norfolk, VA 23504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Graves Funeral Home (1631 Church St, Norfolk, VA 23504). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
