Annie Belardo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Annie Belardo (Norfolk, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 13, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Roosevelt Hawks and Bernice Brown Hawks; her siblings, James Hawks Jr., Benton Hawks, Robert L. Hawks and Joyce Burney; her son Jose Belardo III (Elaine) of Mary's Academy; and her grandson Darren Belardo.
She is survived by: her husband Jose H. Belardo Jr. of Chesapeake, VA; her children, Mark Belardo (Betyshia) of Chesapeake, VA, Karen Dickens (Carl) of Manassas, VA and Joanne Williams (Illinoise) of Virginia Beach, VA; and her brother Richard B.. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and inlaws.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to The Deeper Window Association a 501 (c) 3 established by Annie's oldest son Jose and wife Elaine to advocate for families braving dementia.
