He is survived by: his wife Brenda Smith (Campbell) of Nickelsville, VA; his son Daniel Logan Smith (Kayla); his grandson Jaxton Layne Smith of Nickelsville, VA; his siblings, Jenny Culbertson of Gate City, VA, Lisa Frazier (Tim), Cathy Gillenwater (Darrell), James Smith (Knobby) of Gate City, VA, Rick Smith (Joyce), Jeff Smith (Debbie) and Jerry Smith (Donna); his mother-in-law Jenny Campbell of Nickelsville, VA; his aunts, Beulah of Gate City, VA and Linda Taylor of Gate City, VA; and his pet Millie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
