He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Meade and Sarah Meade (Burke); and his nephew Gary "Meado" Meade. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Meade (Broadwater) of Nickelsville, VA; his children, Cheryl Nelms Baker (Brian) of Weber City, VA, Dusan Vucen and Alex Dumitran; his brother Jack Meade of Nickelsville, VA; and his grandchildren, Brody Nelms and Ava Sloane Baker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
