We bid farewell to Robin Ann McConnell of Nickelsville, Virginia, born in Kingsport, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 23, 2024 at the age of 67. Robin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hulbert Vicars and Jo Ann Vicars; her granddaughter Baylie Light; and her uncle Harold Frasier. She is survived by: her husband Darrell McConnell; her children, Jodie Light (Sean) and Josh Darrell McConnell; her grandchildren, Jackson Light, Colby Light (Madie), Ella and Olivia; her brother Bill Vicars (Teresa); her uncle Billy Jack Frazier; her nieces and nephews, Jan Taylor (Greg), Pam Wright (Doug), Kim Hilton (Danny), Lisa Phillips (Wes), Tammy Anderson, Doug McConnell and Steve McConnell; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Grossman, Natalie Francisco, Patsy Hilton (Buster) and Sue Tignor. She is also survived by many special friends, neighbors, church family, and co-workers.
