She was predeceased by: her parents, Buren Gillespie and Lizzie Hartsock Gillespie; her husband Raymond McDavid; and her brother Hoyt Allen Gillespie. She is survived by: her son Shane McDavid (Lindsey); her grandchildren, Nevaeh Darnell and Avie McDavid; her sister Rhonda Gillespie; her brother-in-law Gordon Hamm; her brother Darrell Gillespie (Carolyn); her nephew Patrick Hamm; her nieces, Leisa Sturm (Paul), Julie Hill (Brian) and Stephanie Strode (Chris); and her friend Linda Clark.
Flowers will be accepted but memorial contributions may be made to Culbertson Chapel U.M.C. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Elmcroft of Kingsport and Amedysis Hospice.
