She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Harris and Naomi Addington Harris; her husband James Kenneth McConnell; her son Dalton Edward McConnell; and her sister Eileen Price.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell McConnell (Betty), Roger McConnell (Lyna Faye) and Brenda Dingus (Donnie); her daughter-in-law Joyce Hillman McConnell; her sister Helen Blevins (Bill); and her grandchildren, Laura Greene, Mitchell McConnell (Lexie), Kevin Dingus Bridget Banner (Hank) and Dawn McConnell. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
