He was predeceased by: his parents, Lakie Lucas (Gibson) and Troy Lucas; his wife Lois Jean Lucas; and his sisters, Peggy, Dovie and Zelma.
He is survived by: his children, Geneva Butler of Gate City, VA, Judy Sumner, Pam Dean (Garry), Sherry Burton of Nickelsville, VA, Joy Hubbard (David), Ben Lucas (Betty) and Grover Lynn Lucas; and his brothers, Clyde Lucas of Nickelsville, VA and Johnny Lucas (Patsy). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
