He is survived by: his children, Christine McClanahan and Dean Allen Noel; his wife Carol Noel; his son Richard James Noel (Shirley C.); his sisters, Violet Meade, Saundra Fields, Goldie Baker and Thelma Dameron; his granddaughters, Stephanie Whitlow (John) and Krystal Noel; and his great grandchildren, Adam and Abel Whitlow. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
