He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Barker "C. B." and Maude Addington (Hartsock); his son James Darrick Addington; and his brother James Howard "Buster" Addington. He is survived by: his sisters, Cleo Lewis and Jessee Craft; his wife Vivian Joyce Addington; his daughters, Suprena Phillips (David) and Monique Qualls (Bryan); his daughter-in-law Deloras Addington; his grandchildren, Tiffanie Epperson (Larry), Garrett Sluss (Sara), Raven Sluss, Tristan Salyer, Malachi, Jaydyn and Myah Carrico; his great grandchildren, Kiana, Sean, AmaRyah Epperson, Garrison Sluss and DraYven Campbell; and his great great grandchild Madilyn Updegrove.
