He was predeceased by: his parents, Erby Goins and Marie Goins; and his siblings, Katherine Brooks, Margie Goins, Freda Powers, Danny Lucas and James Lucas.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Lucas; his children, Tenia Brown, Geneva Williams, Genifer Lucas, Rose Garcia, Regina Lucas and Junior Lucas; and his stepdaughters, Heather Ison, Tara Hensley and Bridget Hensley. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
