She is survived by: her daughters, Tara Hensley of Norton, VA, Heather Hensley Ison (David) of Huntington, WV and Bridgette Hensley of McCaysville, GA.; her grandchildren, Taylor Hensley Bixby (Brian), Mason Bailey, Aiden Bailey, Conner Ison, Silas Ison and Julian Smith; and her siblings, Greg Bass (Cora) of Woodstock, GA, Rosemary Hopper (Mike) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Brenda Janice (Rich) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Janet Bass of Atlanta, GA and Sharon Loughran of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

“To Diane’s family and friends, you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Diane and I graduated from Marion Senior High in 1973. Since then our paths crossed a few times. I always liked Diane who had a bubbly personality and was truly kind to others. Both of us became Registered Nurses and I have no doubt that she was an excellent nurse. I admired her testimonies on Facebook which demonstrated a woman of a strong Christian faith. May you find comfort and peace in the days to come.”
