He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gilmer; his children, Vance, Tina Gilmer, Chris, Kathy Gilmer, Ginger and Jeremy McClain; his grandchildren, Cori, Logan Mullins, Conner Gilmer, Chloe Gilmer, Colten Gilmer and Colten McLain; and his siblings, Johnny (Gail Gilmer), Susie (Kelly Stapleton), Patricia Ann Castle and Tommy (Debbie Gilmer). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
