He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Hershel Counts and Agnes Roberta Counts (Kiser); his wife Lorene Counts (Johnson); his sons, Richard Counts (Kim), Mark Counts (Karianne) and Shannon Counts (Robin); his grandchildren, Cory Counts (Alyssa), Courtney, Patrick Quillen, Logan Counts (Ashley), Tristan Counts, Callie Counts, Mason Counts, Addison Counts and Aspen Counts; and his siblings, Betty Street (Marvin), Jewel Ridge, Joann Wampler, Harold Counts of Nickelsville, VA and Craig Counts. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Billy's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
