She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Hershel E. Ramey; her parents, Mark H. Castle and Beulah Jane Castle (Powers); her sister Juanita Shepherd; and her niece Charlotte Crawford.

She is survived by: her sister Linda Castle; her nieces, Joyce Bledsoe, Amanda Crawford and Rachel Crawford; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Horne (David), Peggy Rutter (Robert) and Lottie Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Gate City, PO Box 97, Gate City, VA 24251.
