He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin "Doll" Franklin Porter and Louise Catherine Porter (Bryant). He is survived by: his wife Edna Ree; his sisters, Joyce Vick (Carroll) of Myrtle Beach and Linda Pulley of Va Beach; and his brother-in-law Roy "Buddy" Butler (Betty). He is also survived by several cousins, nephews and many close friends.
