It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joey Byrd Jr. of Newsoms, Virginia, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann-Marie Byrd; his parents, Joseph Earl Byrd, Sr. and Barbara Burchett Byrd of Portsmouth; his daughters, Sarah and E. Strong (Josie Byrd) of Suffolk; his sister Bobbie Byrd of Portsmouth; his grandchildren, Novaleigh, Karleigh Bell, Mason, Colton and Brycen Strong; and his nephews, Koby and Kaiden. He was also cherished by aunts and uncles, cousins, and so many friends.

Due to the Covid pandemic, services will be held at a later date.
