He was predeceased by: his grandfather Randolph Bryant Starke. He is survived by: his parents, Stephen "Steve" Newsome and Bonnie Newsome of Newsoms, VA; his sister Katelyn Nicole Newsome; and his grandparents, Luke, Barbara Newsome and Diane Starke. He is also survived by aunts, uncle, several cousins, and many, many wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Newsoms United Methodist Church (29193 S Main St, Newsoms, VA 23874).
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin from 6 to 8 P.M., and suggest that memorial donations be made in Chris' memory to CHKD.
