He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Omega Flynn and Ezor Janning Flynn; his father-in-law Frank Lasher; his adoptive son Eric J. Flynn; and his wife Nancy Faye Lasher Flynn.
He is survived by: his former wife Linda J. Nelson Flynn; his mother-in-law Mamie Lasher; his sons, Jonathan Flynn, S. Navy, Jason Flynn and S. C.; his brothers, Ray J. Flynn of Hoover, AL and Gordon Hugh Flynn of Spartanburg, SC.; his daughter-in-law Izumi Flynn; his grandchildren, Aidan and Olivia; his siblings-in-law, Jeffrey Lasher, Sandra Flynn and Myrtle Flynn; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Flynn, Jeffrey Dean Lasher, Joel Lasher, Hollie Flynn, Julie Flynn and Kelsey Lasher.
