He was predeceased by: his parents, Jo Mae Williams Marshall and Sam Julian Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Sue Songer Marshall; his children, Matt Marshall of Wilmington, NC and Jessica Peoples (KC) of Newport, VA; his grandson Chandler Marshall; his brother Julian Dwight "Sammy" Marshall (Shirley) of Narrows, VA; his sister-in-law Barbara Dunn; and his close friends, Robert Smith and Tom Garrett. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
