He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Willie Poyner; his brother Syvasky Poyner; his wife Mary Poyner; his children, Demetric Poyner of Portsmouth and Willie Poyner of Newport News; his grandchildren, Dasha Diggs, Tequan Poyner, Dyamond Cooper, Kevaughn Cooper, Shaniyah Cooper and James Williams (His); his great grandchild Chay Battles; and his father Demetric. He was also cherished by wife, children and grandchildren.
