She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Yates and Cora Williams Yates. She is survived by: her children, Tyra Chisolm (Jack) and James Glover (Linda); and her grandchildren, Teedra Robinson (Tommy), Allen Minkins, Jahar, Niambi and Jared Glover.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home Denbigh Chapel.
