She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa L. Monden and William Monden Sr.; her husband Wilbert J. Higgs Jr.; her sons, Douglas Monden (Ballie), David Lee Monden (Boo) and Wilbur C Monden (Junny); and her siblings, Marie White, Pearl Gaskins, Mattie Bembry, William Monden Jr. and Robert Monden.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin O Monden (Leatrice "Dale" Monden), Steven Webster, Diana Hedrick (McArthur), Pearl Payne, Lois Monden and Victoria Bembry. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 36+ great-grandchildren, and 11+ great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of other family members and friends.
