He was predeceased by: his wife Mae Alice Brown; his siblings, Charles Johnson, Clarence Johnson, Effie Bell and Denise Davis; and his mother Elizabeth English.
He is survived by: his sister Diane Greene; and his children, Bonita Brown, Juanita Jones (Kelvin), Robert Brown Jr. (Shirley), Teresa Richardson (Marque) and Janise Wallace (Ima). He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and many friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel (1601 27th St, Newport News, VA 23607).
