He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Kate "Judy" Dempsey. He is survived by: his children, Bob Dempsey (Lori), David Dempsey, Donna Prince, Sharon Reynolds, Michael Dempsey, Jim Dempsey (Teddie) and Stephen Dempsey (Michelle). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
