She is survived by: her mother Susan Burger Mason; her grandmother Dorothy French Burger of Newport News; and her siblings, James Mason of Richmond, VA, Timothy Mason of Harrisonburg, VA and Elizabeth Mason of Richmond, VA..

A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Menchville Baptist Church (248 Menchville Rd, Newport News, VA 23602).
