She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Jacob Wills; her mother Beatrice F. Jones; and her husband Herman Lee Harvey. She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Harvey and Renee Wills; her grandsons, Rodgerick D. Harvey (Ashley) and CorDara O. Wills (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Jason, Roderick Jr., Joshua, Adanah, Kennedi, Carter, Aiden, Aamoni and Reagan; her sister Shirley Kennedy; her niece Vonyetta Lee; her nephew Le'Var Kennedy; her siblings-in-law, Eloise Jefferson (Melvin), Vanessa Butler (Hercules), Milton Harvey (Kim) and Kenneth Harvey; and her close friends, Loretta, Jennifer and Sonya.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rose - Emily Memorial Chapel of C. C. Carter Funeral Home (3700 Marshall Ave, Newport News, VA 23607). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (3920 Airline Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23321).
