He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfathers, Michael Faison and Dr. Lorenzo Merritt; his great-grandparents, Milton and Juanita Faison; his parents, Kofi A. Merritt and Adria Faison Merritt; his siblings, Isa Adria Merritt and Sharif I. Merritt; his great-grandparent Sylvia McKinney; his grandmothers, Dr. Karen Faison and Cynthia McKinney; and his aunts and uncles, Dr. M. Faison (Jennifer), James Faison (Elizabeth), Dr. Lisa Merritt and Lori Merritt. He was also cherished by great-aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
