As we bid Judy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Judy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her mother Kathleen Asmus; and her husband Donald C. Little. She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Gauldin Byrd (Mark); her grandchildren, Katie A. Dundlow (Tommy) and Charles Byrd; her great grandchildren, Colton and Eleanor Dundlow; her brother Timothy F. Asmus; and her former husband Charles N. Gauldin.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (235 Harpersville Rd, Newport News, VA 23601). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Nanesemond-Suffolk Cemetery (1421 Kings Fork Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
