She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Childress and Elizabeth Childress. She is survived by: her daughters, LeeAnn Moller (Chris) of Newport News and Rose Lewis (James) of Newport News. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the World Outreach Worship Center (1233 Shields Rd, Newport News, VA 23608). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Peninsula Memorial Park (12750 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, VA 23606).
