He is survived by: his children, Douglas Smith of Poquoson, VA, Crystal Scranton of Colorado Springs, CO, Michelle Sweet of New Kent County, VA. and Phillip Smith of New Kent County, VA.; and his sisters, Margaret Fields (Ray) of Ozark, AL, Ann Smith of Hampton, VA, Frances Faria (Russell) of Newton, AL and Susan Gentry (Randy) of Ozark, AL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
