In the sacred silence of farewell, Eloise is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Eloise's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hessie Herbert and Goldie Herbert; her husband Johnny Lee Hogue; and her children, Johnny Lee Hogue, Jr., Stephen Lawrence Hogue, David Richard Hogue, Bernice Elaine Hogue Richardson and Karen Denise Hogue Fary. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren; cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel (1601 27th St, Newport News, VA 23607). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
