It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Hamlin of Newport News, Virginia, born in Hampton, Virginia, who passed away on April 15, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham J. Lively and Susanna Lively. She is survived by: her son James Hamlin Jr. (Inez Hamlin) of Washington, DC; and her grandchildren, Julia Turner of Maryland and Don Little of Georgia. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
