Sargent; his children, Aron Sargent-Mooring (NaTasha) of Suffolk, VA, Jayla Sargent, Joelle Sargent and Jordan Sargent of Hampton, VA; his grandchildren, Avery Grace Sargent of Danville, VA and Thomas Earl Sargent of Suffolk, VA; and his siblings, Vernon Sargent (Amy) of Akron, OH, Linda Roberts (late Richard) of Hampton, VA, Ellen Robinson (Abdurrahim) of Hampton, VA, Sharon Lowther (late Stephen) of Hampton, VA and Charles Branch, III (late Doris) of Hampton, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel (1601 27th St, Newport News, VA 23607). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Restoration & Faith Ministry (2114 Wickham Ave, Newport News, VA 23607).
