She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Hall and Lorraine Hall; and her spouse Thomas Friend Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Eugene Hill III (Shuntay), Dyonne Watson (Keith), Glen Boone (Denise), Wayne Boone (Vicky) and Daryl Boone; her son-in-law Ricky McKenzie; her brother Richard Hall (Patrese); her uncle Dennis Hall of Gretna, VA.; her grandchildren, Tristan, Malcolm, Dynita, Madisen, Timothy, Sherrika, Glen II, Marquice, Xaven, Patricia, Shonda, Wayne, Shalay, Lashell, Danielle and Simone; and her granddaughters-in-law, Tosyianna, Danielle, Tesha and Mercedes.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel (1601 27th St, Newport News, VA 23607). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Union Baptist Church (361 Maple Ave, Newport News, VA 23607).
