He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley West Kirkland. He is survived by: his children, Karen Kennedy (Robert) of Newport News and Gary Lamar Kirkland of Los Angeles, California; his grandchildren, David (Ashley) and Lauren (Nathan); and his great grandchildren, Connor, Carson, Alaina and Keegan.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parklawn Memorial Park (2551 N Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666).
