He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Jones and Catherine Jones; and his grandparents, Sarah, Haywood Leigh, Russell Jones and Gregory Jones.
He is survived by : his friend David Anthony Jones; his wife Debra Jones of Yorktown, VA; his daughters, Diondra Brown (Rashaad) of Hampton, VA and Tayler Jones of Alexandria, VA; his sisters, Barbara Spencer of Columbia, NC, Jackie Blount (Robert) of Philadelphia, PA and Shirley Blount (Melvin) of Engelhardt, NC; his siblings-in-law, Kimberly Washington of Newport News, VA, Shelly Wright of Newport News, VA and William Washington of Newport News, VA; his grandchildren, Jaylon, Ezekiel, Cairo, Aniyah and Aaliyah; and his close friends, Olian Spencer (Barbara) of Columbia, NC, Elizabeth Spencer of Columbia, NC, Donald Ray Basnight of Columbia, NC, Lorenzo Woodley of Newport News, VA, Terry Delk of Boston, MA, Mike Campbell (Darlinda) of Hampton, VA, James Johnson and Sherman Raglon.
A funeral service was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel (1601 27th St, Newport News, VA 23607).
