He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick H. Bivens and Virginia Gray; and his brother Michael J. Bivens. He is survived by: his daughters, April McCoy (Chris) of Hayes and Donna Bivens (Chris Harkins) of Hampton; his grandchildren, Cheyenne McCoy, Christopher McCoy and Makayla Harkins; his siblings, Jamie Bivens and Judy West (Ricky) of Poquoson; his niece Tiffany West; and his nephews, Derrick West and Michael Bivens.
