She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Sr. (Mary Dennis) and Dannie; her former husband Deacon William H. Chapman; her son Reverend Dennis P. Chapman; and her siblings, Roberta, James, Craig, Walsh, Lillian, Willie, Clarence, Roosevelt and Alan.

She is survived by: her husband William Henry Chapman; her children, William (Maurizia), Sandra, Jacqueline (Alan), Steven (Ingrid) and Brenda; and her sister-in-law Alberta Dennis. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
