She was predeceased by: her children, Phillip and Eva. She is survived by: her husband Robert Dean Jernigan; her son Stephen E. Jernigan (Melissa M.); her sisters, Margaret Marlin, Anna Cottrell and Jessica Malafeew; her grandchildren, Eva M. Jernigan and Joseph A. Jernigan; and her close friends, Bonnie and Jim Myers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (116 Denbigh Blvd, Newport News, VA 23608). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
