He was predeceased by: his father Harry S. Sr. Hilling; his siblings, Harry S. Hilling, Jr., Billy Hilling and Mary Jane Hilling Carter; and his nephew John Carter.

He is survived by: his brothers, Charlie Hilling (Annette) and Bobby Hilling; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Hilling and Ann Hilling. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces; and many, many friends.
